Fairweather insurance is a business built on relationships. We have cared for our customers and their interests since 1984 – and always will.
We are a fully independent insurance broker devoted to delivering outstanding professional services with a personal touch. We deeply care for the needs of our clients; acting local, thinking global.
The business was established in 1984 by Tony Fairweather, with John Upton joining that October. In 1999, John and his business partner at the time, Robert Sykes purchased the business, which coincided with Tony’s retirement. In the same year, a fresh-faced office junior started – Jon Senior.
The philosophy to this day, is to exceed our customers’ expectations by offering a professional, friendly and speedy service. We encourage face-to-face meetings and provide direct dial numbers and emails so you could reach the same member of staff every time and baulk at any hint of a “press this button and queue” culture.
We recruit friendly and approachable staff and train them to be experts in their field.
As a result of this philosophy, we have a superb track record of performance and an outstanding reputation for integrity and professionalism. Our business continues to grow primarily based on recommendations and referrals from our loyal customers.

We not only specialise in traditional Commercial (Business) and Personal (Domestic) insurance but also in more specialist and emerging areas of cover including Right to Light Insurance and other Legal Indemnities, High Net Worth Insurance, Crime Cover (Invoice Fraud etcetera), Cyber Liability and cover for property considered ‘at risk’. We look to be your first point of call in respect of any insurance cover you require and we will endeavour to build a rapport and friendship with you.
We are committed to understanding your needs and tailoring the right solution at the right price, using our vast range of products from a panel of world’s leading insurers. During 2017, we became a Lloyd’s Coverholder to develop our own schemes and binding authorities.

Based in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire, we offer professional, and friendly services to clients both locally and across the world. We pride ourselves on our contribution to the Chalfont community, yet we continually push our reach far beyond the local.
We will be here when you need us most, which is likely to be in the event of an insurance claim. In fact, the head of our Claims Department has commented that she wants the service you receive in the event of a claim to be so great that you’re almost glad you had to make a claim in the first place!
