It is with great pleasure that we can reveal that Fairweather Insurance Services Limited was recently shortlisted as a finalist in the Insurance Times Claims Excellence Awards. The category that we were shortlisted in recognises the ‘Outstanding Broker Claims Team of the Year’ and there is clearly no luck in having reached this stage. Since establishing our Head Office and Commercial Centre in Chalfont St Peter we have developed a service whereby we will allocate our client a dedicated claims handler who will guide them from incident through to resolution with the minimum amount of fuss and maximum peace of mind. Dealing with third party insurers can often be taxing for a customer, particularly with limited time and insurance knowledge, and our in house team can use their broking experience, contacts and technical expertise to understand the situation in order to bring your claim to a conclusion as quickly and efficiently as possible.
It was with great anticipation that we opened our copies of The Insurance Times this month to find our name in print as official finalists.
Jana Hume – Claims Supervisor said “It’s brilliant to get recognised for the hard work we put in. A lot of focus is placed on the underwriting side of the Insurance business, so it’s fantastic to realise that people recognise the value of good claims handling. It’s always a pleasure to take the negative experience of a claim and turn it into a positive one”.
The same dedicated approach process applies to both our personal and commercial clients alike, because we understand that loss is all relative and as such, a damaged window for a home owner or the failure of equipment for a printing firm are both equally deserving of our attention to detail and commitment to bringing the claim to a satisfactory conclusion.
Commercial Account Executive, Alistair Campbell-Grieve pointed out that “Often people will be of the opinion that you don’t know how good your insurance providers are until you have to make a claim. With this recognition comes the knowledge that we are very good, which is a great credit to our claims team here and I hope that our existing clients and, indeed, potential clients will be suitably impressed”.
